Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Turbo Charge TC² Portable Charger for iPod and iPhoneCustomer Review: Works on Laundered iPods! Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this as a gift for my brother who washed his iPod nano. The iPod worked fine even after going through the wash EXCEPT the battery was dead. The only way it would work was if it was plugged in (charging). But having a portable music player that isn't portable isn't very useful.
So, I came across this, and he's now able to take his iPod with him wherever he wants. This external battery gives his iPod the power to operate without relying on the internal battery. So his laundered iPod works once more!
Customer Review: Newer units WORK with iPhone 3G/S! Summary: 5 Stars
Their new chargers work with the iPhone 3G/S! The new chargers have an updated circuit that allows them to work with the later Apple products.
Amazing little device being that it can give a full charge using measly AA batteries.
Using Lithium AA batteries allows the charger to charge the iPhone 3GS to 100% (verified). Rechargeables (NiMH) will give about 60% charge. Regular alkalines will give about 20%. These observations are from personal experience and testing.

Customer Review: Works with My iPod Touch 3G Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great little workhorse. It is compact, light-weight, sturdy and uses "AA" batteries, which are easily replaceable. A great means of conserving the Touch's internal battery. My one caveat is that, if the battery level is low, you may get the "Charging is not supported by this accessory" screen on your Touch. Simply replace/recharge the batteries and it works like a wizard. On top of everything else, it includes a handy little flashlight which is surprisingly effective, considering it's size.
Customer Review: Great to have as a back up Summary: 4 Stars
It works well but it's mainly something that you just want to keep in your backpack or bag or whatever. It charges it to full capacity but it doesn't seem to last quite as long as if I charge it at home. It's great though, and the flashlight is pretty bright.
The little switch does get flipped fairly easy like most people are saying. I just keep one of the batteries in backwards and that is fine for me. I would definitely recommend this product.
Customer Review: Great Charger Summary: 4 Stars
The Turbo Charge Portable Charger worked perfectly with my iPod Touch 2nd Gen device. I used it while traveling two weeks in Asia and it worked great. I got 1-2 charges from a pair of AA which was fine with me. The only problem it has is the "off" position for the switch is the middle between flashlight and charge so there were a few times that the switch was moved while traveling in my backpack. Otherwise, a great portable charger that uses AA batteries.
