This USB cable is worth every penny I am using it on a wireless usb adapter and I am able to place it in a 16ft radius around my computer so I am able to get the wireless connection I need in my basement. The only thing I might want to add is that the pic of the cable is nothing like the cable I got on the female end it shows a round knob looking deal mine just looks like a rectangle box with rounded corners. Not a big deal. Other than that the cable works GREAT.Customer Review: So far so good....

I used two of these to set up my PS3 move in the home theater room. The lines had to be run up into the attic from the equipment closet at the back of the room, across the attic and down an exterior wall.... It took some effort and a little help from my Master Electrician brother, but the cables are working perfectly. I have had them for about a month and all is well. For the price I see places like best buy and walmart charging for standard USB cables, this is an absolute gem at [...]. I use it in my photography studio to shoot tethered without having to constantly move my computer around with the camera, and it works like a charm for that purpose. No noticable lag because of length, and its built pretty solidly. Although I do understand that some people like to waste a few dollars every now and then. The reason why I gave it the second "star" is because this is a good cable overall - if money is no object.

I am using this to extend the usb printer connection to my computer, after trying unsuccessfully with a lower cost active extension cable that I purchased elsewhere. The generic cable I tried first had near constant communication errors, making it essentially unusable. After several weeks of use, I have had no problems or error messages with the Tripp Lite cable. It seems well made. I should have purchased a quality product first.
