I bought this on a gamble. I really didn't think it would work. Not at this price. I saw it in the name-brand store for $30. Well, I took a chance - and guess what, it WORKS!!! So for $6 (including shipping)I've got a printer cable that works just as well as the ones in the store for $30 (not including tax). What a deal!!Customer Review: Great price, good product

At various office stores USB 2.0 cables cost upwards of $35.00 - I got this one with gold connectors, for much less, and shipping was super-fast. The most important thing, when I used it to connect my printer/scanner to my computer, it worked like a charm.
I'd buy more cables from Tripp Lite without hesitation.

Mine's not even COLORED "gold" but at least it works and was cheaper than the 25 bucks everywhere else. Still, false advertising is a serious moral problem and i would NEVER order anything from this company again! they know the product description is wrong, Amazon has been contacted, yet the ad remains the same. These cables were perfect for the connection of my new printer to my computer. They offer plenty of length. And you can't beat the price $9.99. It would cost you $19.99 or more at Best Buy or Circuit City for the same cable which does the same as any other cable. Ordered through Amazon, and it arrived the day before the printer arrived. I plugged it into the printer the next day, and VOILA! Everything was a go!
It sure beats paying $25-$30 at the local retail stores. It's a cable, and I have found cables either work or they don't work. The one I received works.
