I bought three of these cables for my home system. Two connect the PS3 and cable box to my receiver. The other goes from the receiver to the 1080p TV. It all works great. Some people worry about cheap cables not working well, but I get great images at full 1080p using these cables. Maybe you need something more expensive for 12' cables, but these have been great for me and you simply can't beat the price.Customer Review: Has worked without problems for 2 years

I bought one of these optical cables 2 years ago and I've used it since without incident. Also, there's no noticeable difference between these cables and the "premium" cables you can find at retail electronics stores. Well, there's no difference besides the price. As a buyer, the only thing I'd be careful with is making sure you want a 6 foot cable. It works great for my setup but you might want a larger one.Customer Review: Good Sound, Cheap Price

I used 2 of these cables to hook up my PS3 and LCD to my home theater system. The sound quality is good and the price is great. I would have given them a 5 star rating, except like some others have stated, they do not securly 'snap' in. I have had the cables come out only two times so far, it's not a huge deal. If there is no sound, I know just where to check. I think overall for the price, it's a good deal.Customer Review: Worthless

Based on other reviews of the "good value" of these TOSlink cables, I ordered 3. Unfortunately, I'll never know if they work or not, because the plug is so insubstantial that it will NOT stay in the optical connector on any device with which I tried it. I've used many Tripp Lite products in my home and office and have always been satisfied. Wow, is this ever a disappointment! No wonder they're so cheapCustomer Review: Do not bend, or it will break

Fit was okay, but it worked for less than a month. I had two optical cables in my cabinet, this one an a more expensive one. This one stopped working, the other is fine. With a little jiggling, I could get it to go intermittently; now, not at all. Apparently a crack developed because of the moderate bend I had in it. Do not buy unless you have a pretty straight shot out the back of your unit.
