Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of The Owl Lite - Credit Card Sized Magnifier and LightCustomer Review: Owl lite Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased the owl lite from ads I saw on TV. It is advertised as credit card sized, but that is misleading. It is in fact the shape of a creidt card, but it has the thickness of three credit cards stacked. That is too large for my wallet. It works as advertised so I may throw one in my gym or computer bag, but i can't put it in my wallet which is what I wanted.
Customer Review: None of 4 units worked Summary: 1 Stars
A product that does not work.
I ordered two of these. Neither worked when they arrived.
The company sent me two more as replacements. Neither of these worked either.
You're supposed to press the button to make the light come on. None of the 4 did. They were all from China. Must not have any quality assurance program.
Customer Review: Bait and switch? Summary: 3 Stars
This is an outstanding product for its portability and ease of use. But the reason it does not get five stars is based on the fact I was led to believe that I would get a second one 'free.' Yeah, except for $13.98 shipping and handling! That is a heck of deal, huh? For a product that is about ten dollars? RIGHT!
Customer Review: Nice item shipping a bit high Summary: 4 Stars
The light was a little confusing at first, you have to push the button up. But it works well and does what it is supposed to. The shipping was a lot for such a tiny thing though. To me it seems like it is small enough that it could have been shipped in a normal envelope. Overall very happy with it.
Customer Review: Good but there are better options Summary: 3 Stars
I had the Night Owl for years. This time I purchased the Night Owl and a VisAcuity Wallet Light Magnifier Card. The last few Night Owls I purchased had a problem with the light switch. It stopped working after using it just a few times. The VisAcuity is more powerful and clearer.
