I bought two units and place them side by side at my desk. Each unit reads the temperature with two different sensors, and the agreement between the four readings was reasonable, total difference of the order of 1 C. However, after a few days one of them just stopped working. The other one is still OK one month later. Works well. I own a number of thermometers because I like knowing the temperature in my various rooms to determine if guests would be comfortable. I have placed different brands side by side to determine if they seem accurate and the temps were very close so obviously pretty accurate. I didn't understand the "minimum/maximum".Customer Review: Horrible....

Broke after a week. The "stand" was little more than absolutely and totally useless. Kept falling, which then would make the battery fall out constantly. Wrong temp readings. Was the worst product I think I have ever bought.Customer Review: I don't think it's very accurate

I bought this for my desk at work. Every day at 10:30 the air conditioning kicks on and the temperature drops to where we all put on our sweaters but the gauge never shows more the a degree and half fluctuation.Customer Review: Works well

The thermometer appears to be accurate. The only flaw, that I can find, is that it is difficult to read in soft lighting. Otherwise it is worth the money.
