I bought two units and place them side by side at my desk. Each unit reads the temperature with two different sensors, and the agreement between the four readings was reasonable, total difference of the order of 1 C. However, after a few days one of them just stopped working. The other one is still OK one month later. If I were to buy it again it would rather choose a more expensive one.

This compact unit - which mounts on a wall or sits unobtrusively on a tabletop or shelf - offers a wide indoor and outdoor temperature range. As a result, you can instantly gauge whether to bring the plants inside during a cold spell, turn up the heat in the living room, or put on a jacket before taking a stroll. The TX5020 includes a minimum/maximum memory function that records the high and low temperatures of the day. Thermometer includes a wired, weather-resistant probe for gauging the outdoor temperature (to access outside temperatures, main unit will need to be located near a window, so probe can gauge outside temperatures).
