The clock is 3 1/4 x 3 1/2 x 2 inches, not the size listed in the description. The display is very bright. Good if you want a clock that is also a night light, bad if you like a dark room to sleep in. If you turn off the multi-colored back light, you can not see the display at all. The controls are easy to figure out. The buttons are under a cover. With the cover closed, when you push the top, only the snooze button gets pushed, since it is right up against the cover. A good idea so you don't accidentally press something else while fumbling for the snooze button.Customer Review: Piece of Junk

The mode is selected with a slider bar on the top (time set, alarm set, calendar set, etc). After about three weeks the only mode that would activate was "calendar set" no matter where the slider was placed. So, now I can't set the alarm to a new time. So, when you buy a low cost alarm, made in China, this is what you get - poor quality. My other minor complaint is that the display is really too bright for a dark room. The one plus is the battery backup which keeps the time so you don't have to reset the clock after a power outage.Customer Review: Neat Concept for a Clock!

What a neat clock this is...I get to choose the backdrop color...quite a conversation piece. This clock also provides date and time, which is really nice to see in the morning to get one oriented. I like the small size and streamline design. It is simple to operate, takes up minimal space while serving a useful purpose. Have not seen anything like this anywhere else. Price is right, and like the way it looks in my bedroom, and can change the "color" display any time I choose. I have a problem waking up in the morning and so I use a couple of alarms.
This alarm allows one to have different colors for display which is good but I wonder how useful it is.

The alarm is small

Con:
The plastic makes it look cheap but that is not a reason to complain either.
The volume level is fixed : not as loud as I thought.
Somewhere not worth the price. But guess thats what $11 can give.

I love this clock! The "display color" function is fun, great color choices to please anyone! The best part for us is you can shut the display COMPLETELY off, however with one push of a easily accessible button, the display is back should you want it in the middle of the night in your dark room. SUPER easy to program and operate. Amazing price for the options you get including a battery back-up. The small size is perfect! This clock was just what I was looking for!
