Description of Long Stem Water Resistant Instant-Read Digital Thermometer

Most low-cost digital thermometers have fairly short probes. They're great for the pocket but can be frustrating when you need a longer reach! Our new Long-Stem model features an 8" probe that is perfect in lab work, food production, and countless applications where you need longer immersion depth. The pointed probe is still only 1/8" diameter for reasonably fast readings. A sheath is supplied to protect the stem in storage or transport. The Max/Min function stores high and low temperatures until you clear them. The scale is switchable between ?C and ?F. When you turn the thermometer off, it will power-up in the last scale used. The Max and Min temperatures are retained when the power is off. The large display boasts digits that are nearly 1/2" tall for easy reading and fewer mistakes. The attractive electronic "head" of the thermometer is sealed against moisture for a longer life.
