Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Graphing CalculatorCustomer Review: Awesome Calculator Summary: 5 Stars
As a math teacher, I LOVE this calculator better than any of the other graphing calculators and would recommend it as a great high school or college calculator. It has the capability of any other calculator (even the advanced stuff if you want to take the time to learn how). The basic stuff is EASY to get to and quite user friendly. You can use it on the ACT and SAT (and the AP calculus exam) with no problems. I have also used and taught with the TI-82, TI-83, TI-92, and some of the HP calculators (I really struggle with the HP notation), but this calculator is far and away the very best one!
Customer Review: Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Summary: 5 Stars
My high school is making us buy these calculators, and I want to say it is definately worth the price! This thing works wonders, and it will do ANYTHING Math-realated that you want to do!!!!!! I would strongly encourage you to buy this calculator. It also comes with a great unit converter and the periodic table, so it's great for students like myself to use. BUY THIS CALCULATOR!!!!! You can also hook it up to your computer through a USB cable, so you can view your screen that is on the calculator, on your computer monitor, and you can back up and restore your RAM memory.
Customer Review: Great calculator Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this calculator back in 2005, just as I was entering high school. I am extremely surprised that the exact same calculator with no changes whatsoever is now more expensive than when I purchased it. I paid $118 at Target for the TI-84 Plus Silver Edition in 2005, and the same model is currently selling for $130 here. It's crazy. Anyways, the calculator works great for high school math classes, calculus, and I've even used the statistics and finance programs for my courses in college. Great buy that will last forever!

"Exactly what I needed. T1-84 silver is the calculator to get for school,
at least through Calc 1.
You may end up needing to upgrade to a T1 89 equavalent for future classes (like calc 2), but the 89 and its ilk are more expensive
and have a steeper learning carve (or so I've been informed).
If you are familiar with any of the older T1 graphing calcs, this one's super easy to learn and use. Recommended."
Customer Review: I don't care if it still works riiight.. Summary: 4 Stars
The shipping came in with my other stuff just a few days later, but in a separate tiny box. It was light, so I thought it was something else. When I opened it, it was the TI-84 Silver ed... relieved, but it was in poor condition. Oh I see, it's a used one. haha... and nothing else with it, but the cover and the calculator. Alright, I put in the batteries and the calculator was working just fwine. Yeah, I don't care as long as it still works. I got it for a very cheap price anyways.
:D
