Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Texas Instruments BA II Plus Financial CalculatorCustomer Review: not as good as its predecessor Summary: 3 Stars
No need to repeat the comprehensive reviews already posted. Two comments I wish to add:
1) more buttons, more functions = simple calculations more complicated
2) confusing display. e.g., when you amortize a debt and compute the payment amount, the answer will appear as a NEGATIVE number. (the manual confirms this)
Customer Review: Not a bad calculator to use Summary: 5 Stars
My friend has a problem pressing those buttons on her used calculator. However, my new calculator is not as bad as her used one. Of course it is not as good as typing on your computer keyboard, but at least it is acceptable. Plus it is one of the only two calculators you can use in a CFA exam. I would recommend this product.
Customer Review: Calculators are cool devices Summary: 5 Stars
This calculator is just what I need for school I can use it to do all the work for me with out thinking in my head. It even has a way that you can do fractions. I do hate that sometimes the screen has a glare were you can't see the numbers. This thing last a very long time the batteries hadden't ran out on mine's yet.
Customer Review: Simple to Use Summary: 4 Stars
The BA II Plus was a requirement for my finance class and was intimidating at first. Once I learned how to use it to do my calculations it really made the class a great deal easier. I recommend it for anyone who knows how to use a financial calculator. Anyone else will probably need a little help getting started.
Customer Review: Useful Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this calculator for my Finance and Accounting course. This has been useful for this semester and hopefully it should help me through the entire course as well. If this calculator is required for your course...then I'd recommend you buy it from Amazon which is much cheaper compared to your local bookstores.
