I was very pleased to locate this product. Combined with my An-Mann Energy8 charger I should be in great shape for D-cell applications for many years to come. I use these D-cell batteries in Mag-Lite handheld flashlights equipped with 3-watt LEDs. This combination produces an economical (over a period of several years) and almost indestructable lighting tool. I have been using this for about 2months now, and I can definitely say it holds a longer charge than non-rechargeable Duracell batteries, when used in a device like a baby swinger.
I cannot not tell if it can hole 80% of its charge for a long period of time, cos I haven't tested it yet, but I will try to update when I do.
I give it 5 stars cos it serves my purpose perfectly.

I got 4 of these batteries in a kit that included a charger and several other sizes of batteries. I am using my D cells in a small personal fan and they drain in about 3-4 days of use. Prior to getting these batteries, I was using non-rechargeable duracell and energizer batteries and they lasted 2 and a half weeks before dying.

I have been using these in a baby swing that requires D batteries for about a month. These have twice the capacity of the batteries I had purchased previously from a different manufacturer. This batteries are just perfect, they have a huge life of charge that last almost a week using it at least 10 hours per day. I use this batteries for my Altec Lansing inMotion MIX iMT800 BoomBox, and im more than satisfied with this batteries, i can carry the Boom Box wherever i go, and no need of electric wire, thats perfect.
