Customer Review: Targus Notebook Backpack
Summary: 5 Stars

Bought this at a Fry's earlier and loved the way it was assembled and how well my 15.4" toshiba fit in the laptop compartment; snug would be the best word to describe it. This backpack doesn't feel cheaply made in my opinion. It is nice to also have extra storage for notebook accessories (power adapter, mouse, flash drives, external hard drives, etc.).

This backpack is definitely more comfortable than wearing my previous carrying case with a strap-on as it seems to make my shoulder sore everytime i wore it.

Seeing how cheap it was at the time ($19.99), i just had to return the one i bought at Fry's and ordered one on amazon. with "Super Saver Shipping" selected, it arrived to my house in 3 days!

Thanks Targus for a great product!

And thanks to Amazon, yet again, for another free speedy delivery =P

Customer Review: Very tough backpack!
Summary: 5 Stars

This backpack is very nice and very durable. I have had it for a while now and it still looks brand new. And it gets a lot of abuse, I take it to work with me everyday so I can keep my purse, makeup bag, documents, lunch, etc all together. The larger section has a space for a laptop that is padded. I usually use this section for books and papers that I do not want to get messed up on the way to work.

The back of it and the straps are more cushoined then other backpacks I have owned, I could tell the difference right away. If I did carry my laptop (which is heavy) the extra cushion would make it very comfortable to carry. I usually just throw it over my shoulder and it doesn't cut into me like my last pack.

The other backpacks I have purchased in the past are usually worn out by now, not this one!

Customer Review: Targus CVR600 specs and uses
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased this book bag for the purposes of carrying medical school books. So far, it has done the job wonderfully. There are just enough pockets to keep things organized yet not too many to lose things in. I enjoy the padded slot in which up to a 15" (non-wide) screen laptop can comfortably fit and the mesh pockets to quickly throw miscellaneous items into. I have used the Targus book bag every day for the past two months and have had no tears or even loose threads. It is a wonderful buy and well worth your money! More detailed specs include: 1 large, 1 medium, and 1 small compartment with dividing slots in each. Two side pockets with mesh pockets on the outside, comfortable padded shoulder straps and a strap that may be used around the waist (could have done without but hey it's an added extra). Enjoy this product!!

Customer Review: Targus 15.4 CVR600, not as pictured
Summary: 4 Stars

Targus CVR600.. NOT AS PICTURED.. Pictured is the original Targus CVR600, however, this backpack model has been revised. That being said..
Heavy mesh on the outer pockets, rugged covering for those times u sit ur bag in the damp grass or whatever. My original CVR600 lasted over 2 yrs with heavy wear (books, laptop, 10 lbs of handtools). So thumbs on on the build quality and materials. Thumbs down on a less than innovative strap padding/design. These will wear out quickly.
As mentioned, Targus re-designed this bag. If I'm not able to upload the pics, csnoffice has the updated pics on this model.
New design only has 1 outer-side zipped pocket. They removed the other zipped pocket for a bigger open mesh pocket. ALL of the interior pocket layouts have been changed, much to my disappointment.

Customer Review: Very cost-effective notebook backpack
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this backpack for my 15" PowerBook, and after several weeks of use, I am very satisfied with the bag. This bag even comes with a waist belt for more support and comfort. My only problem is that for thin-profile notebooks (such as the PowerBook), the computer sometimes rocks forward and backward (thus hitting your back) because the pouch for the notebook is a bit too big (it was probably designed to hold thicker notebooks). The notebook hitting my back doesn't really cause any discomfort, but I am a bit worried about the fragile harddrive withstanding the vibrations from hitting my back constantly while I walk. I think my notebook should be fine, since the pouch is very well padded and insulated. Overall, however, I am very satisfied with this $20 bag, and it's a very nice and cost-effective backpack.
