Update- July 2010.
The bag still goes great. I take it on hikes and use it to carry my laptop to office everyday. I use it without fail, in all my domestic and international flights. The bag refuses to die!

Its been almost 2 years and the bag goes great. I have used it every single day, to office and to the university and also on beach trips and hikes. Except for a small tear in the layer separating the two compartments (partly due to my habit of overstuffed the bag) the bag is awesome. No problem with the backpack straps at all (imp).

This bag is great. It has so many pockets and most important of all it is BIG. Also a heavy laptop and copies/ books can be carried in it without any difficulty because the straps are good and the bag design does not try and wrestle your back down to the ground. In this range its certainly one of the best things to go for.

I was shocked when I started loading my gear into this backpack. After putting in my 15.4 inch laptop, my cell phone, Ipod, Palm, digital camera, 48 CD/DVD case(full), headphones, microphone, mouse, power cables, USB ports, cooling pad, bluetooth dongle, USB cables, firewire cable, phone charger, wet wipes, extra battery, camcorder, extra mini DVs, camcorder charger, mini tripod, and a few other odds and ends, it refuses to fill up. It looks nothing like the picture shown; it's very refined looking and is easy to carry even when loaded with all the stuff I put in there. It doesn't even look full. I do a ton of video capture and editing and I finally have something to carry all my gear in a discrete easy to handle way. At any time I may have thousands of dollars worth of equipment with me and with this backpack you would not be able to tell. In my opinion it's worth much more than $24 at and I could not be any more pleased with it.Customer Review: Can't beat this deal

This bag is a great deal. First and foremost, it looks better in person than on the picture. There are a lot of confusing reviews for this bag with some saying 15" screen notebooks won't fit in it and others saying it will. I can assure you the CVR600 backpack fits the Dell B130 notebook with 15.4 inch screen with room to spare. Even still, the best thing for you to do is to compare the dimensions of your computer with that of the notebook chamber in the bag which are # 14.2" x 2" x 11.6" per Targus' website. Additionally, Targus' site lets you search for bags by notebook dimensions and / or make and model. Anyway, be sure you're reading reviews for the correct bag. If you notice there is a dropdown menu at the top of the page for the bag allowing you to choose from four different types. The construction and material are great. For 25 bucks, you're not going to get better than this.Customer Review: Excellent value and design

Every so often, a bargain comes along that defies belief. The Targus CVR600 notebook backpack is one of these items. The construction of the unit is excellent. There are pockets gallore on the outside and inside of this backpack that will allow anyone to bring as many accessories and items along with their notebook computer as they wish. The main compartment holds my 15.4 inch screen notebook snuggly and securely. The straps on the backpack are very comfortable. The main reason why I was looking for a notebook backpack is to be inconspicuous while I was transporting my computer around. I didn't want to get the standard notebook carriers because this just basically advertised that a valuable piece of equipment was inside. With the Targus backpack, I am now incognito. This is an outstanding notebook comuter bag. The pocket that the notebook fits into is well padded and is easly reached through a large zipper opening. The bag itself is easy to carry by the shoulder straps or by a hand strap at the top. There are plenty of pockets for all of your laptop extras such as power cords, mice and other acc. There is even a pocket to hold a cd, mp3 or other audio player with a rubber push hole at the top so your earphones will plug in. The bag has plenty of room inside for other books or business stuff even after the notebook is inside. A further note: I was using a rolling computer bag and a briefcase intill I got the backpack and discovered that the backpack had so much more room I even was able to get rid if the briefcase. The only thing about the the bag that I didnt like was that the shoulder straps didn't have quick releases for easy removal.
