When you're looking for a compact surge protector to fit behind your wall mounted tv, this is it.
There is no cord, it plugs in and sits on top of the outlet, pointing in the direction of the ground on the outlet.
For using behind a TV, the swivel outlet keeps your cords angled away from the back to the tv set.
If you are putting in an outlet to use for your wall mounted flat panel TV, position the outlet on the upper half of the TV footprint on the wall to give you extra room if/when the TV set tilts down.
Also, I would suggest getting some swivel coax connectors and making some custom coax cables to tighten up the back of the TV.
One less cord to manage, nice.
