Manual sucks big time. The directions tell you to set up your camera with an IP address of 192.168.10.30. That's fine,but a router is required and who has a router with that default address. Manual says to type that IP address in your browser. Good luck because that is not the Gateway for any Browser. Good bye network with that odd ball address. What is Trendnet thinking? Trendnet has 24/7 tech support, but it takes them days to get back to you! I could go on, but the camera itself is nice.The Jury is still out on Wifi. Encryption seems to disable the wireless. I had to use no encryption on my router and camera in order to make the camera mobile.Customer Review: Love this Camera

Most people will need a little help setting this camera up but once it is up it is so easy to use. The only issue I had is that the software for the camera only works with a pc and I have a mac. This means I can monitor from my mac but I cannot listen or talk. That is one of the reasons I purchased this camera. However, I liked the camera enough that I settled by setting up a simple older pc laptop and I use that for the other features. Not optimum but it works!
Overall, I will definitely buy it again and just continue to encourage the company to be MAC friendly.

Finally one that works. The web cam was extremely easy to setup and it worked well. The video is excellent and the accompanying software is good. I tried another web cam by Linksys and compared to this it was junk. I sent it back. Only difficulty so far is getting the email notification to work. Support is excellent. I would recommend you sign up for free DDNS with [...]. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.Customer Review: good/cheap camera

Bought several of these and Panasonics. Night coverage is pretty good with this, but distance is short at night. I really like the PTZ version better, but this is a good camera for the price. Setup with access over the Internet with no problems. Emails me photos when it detects motion. Although the instructions included with the camera are not very helpful, a little research on the internet was all it took to get it up and running. A little knowledge of computers is a must. Combined with the Trendnet TV-M7 Wireless Camera Monitor it makes a great baby monitor that can also be monitored remotely.
