I used this device the very first day it arrived, found the issue I was having immediately. A brand new cable that was bad, never would have found it without this device. I thought I had a router problem, good thing I tested the cables. This item helped me set up my network throughout my house. I had electricians run wires to about 10 places in my house, but to save money on their hourly rate, I did the terminations on my own. It took a few practice tries, but I can now quickly terminate my CAT 5 wire and this helps validate that all is well.Customer Review: Anticipated implementation problem and was not let down

If you are walking into a cabling cluster-mess you will need this. Found cabling issues that others worked around. Customer thought I was a trouble-shooting genius. I did not tell them that its all in the tools and knowing how and when to use them. Be prepared and git yourself one.Customer Review: It's cheap, and it works great!

This particular unit is a must have any IT personnel. It works great, and includes a nice case for storage. I can't justify spending more money for this type of tester, as there really isn't much to these units.

Worked perfectly in helping me locate a wiring problem in my house (swapped pairs). Recommended for any one doing any cabling work in their house. I've only used it minimally (since it helped me solve my problem so quickly), but it feels like it will last quite a while.
