Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of TRENDnet 2-Port USB KVM Switch Kit (Includes 2x KVM Cables) TK-207K (Blue)Customer Review: Reliable KVM at a Great Price Summary: 4 Stars
Great KVM for the price. Image looks good, quick switching times, and I like that it has buttons for switching also.
Only downside would be that its form. it has an awkward shape that makes it an odd fit on the desktop, but I guess that's what you get when you want the cables to be removable.
Customer Review: A waste of money Summary: 1 Stars
It worked great for a month and then the USB circuitry quit working. The KVM is now just a V since K and M are USB. Other reviewers have also had this happen. If you want to roll the dice on this one go ahead. But for me, it's a cost-reduced piece of garbage. I'd return it, but it's not worth the hassle.
Customer Review: Plug and Play Summary: 5 Stars
This was a super easy install and worked out of the box. I have desktop and often use a work laptop. I just plug in the cords and hit the button... the monitor, keyboard and mouse switch over right away.
Cheap and performs as stated.
I would recommend to this to a friend.
Customer Review: Worked for 1.5 hours --- piece of junk Summary: 1 Stars
Installed. Both computers working fine, was able to switch between each. Then received error 'Unknown USB device' (after less than 2 hours). Keyboard and mouse on both machines dead. Put back 'old' keyboard/mouse to shutdown. Removed 'old'-- reboot --- device NEVER worked again.
Customer Review: Works well and is compact Summary: 5 Stars
This was easy to install and is nice and compact. Works well with my two XP desktop PCs. Wish cables were about a foot longer (I like to run my wires clean), but is better than having 2 keyboards, mice and monitors in my computer room. A must for people with multiple computers.
