Customer Review: Another early, unexplained flash drive death

Like another customer this product died after a little over a month. 1.5 gbs of data are now gone. I was using it on a daily basis at work, and for no apparent reason, one morning when I plugged it into my PC, it just would not work. I have tried it on other PCs & laptops, and am able to use the ports with other flash drives, so it is definitely a problem with the drive. For the month it was working, I absolutely loved it, it is extremely fast. I don't know how frequently those that have given this drive great reviews were using it, but this is the first drive I have ever had that has completely failed to respond, and as I said, I was using it for multiple hours daily.Customer Review: JetFlash V30

I'm very impressed with this drive. I had originally bought a pair of 256MB drives in order to back up private information. I realized I needed more room to store my files on and decided on a 2GB Drive. Because of the price I ended up buying 2 of them and keep one on me at all times, the other is stored at home with files I don't keep on the PC.
If you're looking to buy a drive, you can't go wrong with this one. It's small, comes with a handy strap necklace that can be detached near the drive and the hole in the drive is small and very secure. It also comes with some great software including email, favorites, password protection and much more!

Great product at a very affordable price. I bought two of them and have no problems by far. It's fast, slim, sturdy, works flawlessly with XP, Vista and Mac as well. The cap fits tight. Fully plug & play and driverless. I'm very pleased and I recommended it.
Estupendo producto a muy buen precio. Compré dos y hasta ahora no he tenido ningun problema. Es rápido, delgado, resistente, trabaja sin problemas en XP, Vista y Mac. La tapita ajusta muy bien. Completamente plug & play y no requiere de drivers. Estoy muy satisfecho y lo recomiendo.

This nice product ALSO works with USB 1.x - a
requirement of mine and my collection of older
and new computers (I have 9 computers). Completely eliminates the hassle of moving things between all the computers.
Not too many of these multi USB products exist but the
Jetflash line is one of them.
I still use an elderly 10 year old computer using
Win 98 for most of my internet work. Did I mention
that I'm also using Netscape 7.2 on the old girl
with only occasional internet protests.

I received my 2gb memory stick as a gift. I've been using it ever since (2008), and i have to say that it works great. The transfer rate is faster than my sandisk cruzer 2gb one. I normally use it for work, and also used it for my classes at the university. I've filled it up to capacity and haven't had a problem with it. It hasn't stopped functioning or made any read/write errors so far. So it's worked great for me, so thats the reason i want to get the 4gb and 8gb one. I want it in white too, but i'll settle for the black colored ones on here.
