The card works with the digital camera I bought it for, so that's good. I knew that it would not work with my older PC's built-in SD reader, so it was great that it came with its own USB SDHC reader, which works with the PC. The problem: the USB reader does not work with my iMac G5 running OS X Tiger. I checked on Transcend's website, but all it says is that the Mac doesn't need any drivers for the USB reader. All I know is that every time I connect the reader to the iMac's USB port, either nothing happens or there is an error message saying the device was disconnected improperly. That's a disappointment.

I do a lot of work on my computer with photos. I'm not a fan of the new IPhoto nor am I a fan of most camera software. This SD card with the card reader is amazingly easy to use. It saves me a lot of time when I transfer my photos to my laptop (drag and drop). I can also place these photos in other software easier and faster because I don't have to download them to the camera software and then export them to my desktop so then I can upload them to another piece of software (whew, that even took a long time to write). I highly recommend this SD card with card reader for the speed, ease and price.Customer Review: good value for the price

This bundle is great. The 8gb card has large capacity and works great. The speed it very good (records high quality videos and transfers to the computer in a much quicker speed than the old memory stick that I used to have). I didn't really need the card reader since I have the card reader in my computer already, but I keep it with my camera in case I need to download pictures to a computer that doesn't have the card reader built-in. It is fast and works great. The connection is also good, doesn't interfere with the computer case or anything else. Good purchase for a low price!Customer Review: Imperfect design

It is good to have a large capacity chip (8GB - large now, not so large next month, maybe).
Slight drawback with the design though - the USB chip reader has the SD chip sticking out the side. There are devices that it won't fit into. All resolvable by using a USB extension cord of course, but still, it probably would have been smarter to have the chip fit into the end opposite the USB plug, rather than the side. Perhaps the reader socket could be at the end of a 1-inch wire, so as to be able to flex as necessary.
Otherwise, very fine.

I am very happy with my new 8 GB card and card reader (USB connection)
This purchase was very reasonable compared to local stores. I would recommend the brand and the price to anyone who wants a larger card for a digital camera. One note: some older cameras won't accept a card larger than 2 GB, so you need to be careful to read what your camera is capable of reading and using. I am using the 8GB card in a new Nikkon Cool Pix.
I am able to record a lot of video....I only do small amounts at a time, but I haven't filled the card yet, like I would with only 2GB.
