I purchased this on Amazon for my Canon PowerShot SD1200IS 10 MP Digital Camera. I keep the Transcend card tucked into a small camera bag along with the camera, so when I take shots, that same day I can pop out the memory card, load em up on my MacBook Pro and I got images online.
I have had this for over a year, and the product has held up well. No issues. Speed of loading is fine, quality fine.
Inexpensive, easy to use, good quality.
Small nit-if you have most of your slots used up, it is a challenge to "squeeze" the card in to your Mac, so I just take some care not to bend anything.
I could say more but frankly, life is too short. Fine product

Extra memory purchased to support a museum road trip. To keep from running out of memory for images, I purchased the 8GB card w/ card reader & the 16 GB card, which was possible due to the very reasonable price. I took nearly 4000 pictures (6 MP) over a 5 day period using a 2GB & 8GB cards, never even got to the 16 GB card. Afterwards, download was very easy and fast with the the reader being mounted by XP with no problem. Cannot provide any technical details of the performance, but as a "user", I found the card and reader to be faultless. This made my switch from 35mm film to digital much more encouraging since I never "ran out of film" and I could review the results immediately. I use this memory card in Nikon D40X and it works well. I can store over 600 RAW image files on this card so I always have ample room for photos (And frankly I'm not sure it's a good idea to store so many images without a backup). I also have a second one for when I travel and want to take even more pictures. So far I have not had any problems with these cards. The reader makes it easy to download photos to my computer for post processing, posting and printing. The speed of downloading many images doesn't seem to be noticeably slower than some other memory cards I've tried that I paid much more for but there are faster cards out there so I took off one star for speed. You simply can't beat the cost of this SDHC card. It's a class 6, which means it's faster than other classes. It's perfect for a Digital SLR Camera (such as the Canon Rebel XS 10.1MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens (Black)). It works perfectly, I've never had problems with it and I've yet to fill the card. I initially went to my local Best Buy to purchase a card for this camera. They wanted $35 (on sale from $70!) for a 4GB class 4 SDHC card!! That's just insane. Transcend TS8GSDHC6-S5W 8GB SDHC6 Memory Card with Card Reader
I love this product. The chip is so fast that it records all the movies on my KodakZD710 digital camera. With a slower version SD memory, the camera stops recording after a whil because the chip is too slow. Maybe a low battery makes it even less reliable; With this new fast 8G chip, oooh it works so well.
Plus, just in case the computer has trouble uploading through the cable, it works perfectly with the Transcend reader.
Buy it. You'll like it.
