Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Transcend 4 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS4GSDHC6Customer Review: not the best, but good enough. Summary: 4 Stars
I just did a quick and simple test. I formated and then proceeded with 1GB file transfer test, and 10MP camera continous burst shoot test on pentax k10d, 3MB/shot and 3FPS at MF mode. The transcend 4GB didn't write fast enough and did slow down after 25+ shots. I also have a cheaper A-DATA 4GB class 6 SDHC card and it can keep up until the battery runs out.
The write speed is fast enough, but there are faster and cheaper 4GB SDHC cards out there. But for everyday use on my camera, it will work just fine.
Customer Review: Two strikes and out! Summary: 5 Stars
Once burned twice shy saith the wise man: The first Flash Memory Card would not work in either of our cameras---one a point and shoot and the other a Pentax SLR. Neither did the replacement which I did not ask for and had all kinds of grief trying to get a refund. You showed that I didn't pay for the replacement so, even though it was also defective and immediately returned, "Y'all didn't owe me anything".
Suffice it to say, I do not trust Transcend and believe no one reads Review: Great storage, not always compatible Summary: 4 Stars
Maybe it's lack of knowledge on my part, but I can only read the ocntents of this card, when it's inserted in the camera and I put the USB cable from the camera to the computer. My PC has a card reader unit and I've tried every card I have and they all work, except this one, maybe it's not suppouse to, but I find that a little frustrating 'cause I have to consume batteries to copy the photos from my camera to the PC and as it is a high capacity card it takes a lot of time and batteries to copy 1000 photos.
Customer Review: Lifetime Warranty Summary: 5 Stars
This card works great with my Kodak EasyShare Z812IS. I have not had any problems with this card. And you just can't beat the price. Also according to the paperwork I received with the card, it comes with a lifetime warranty.
From the Transcend website:
Effective January 1st 2006 the following Transcend products are covered by this warranty for life, SD series, MMC series, CF series (except Industrial CF cards) memory cards and JetFlash series USB flash drives (except JetFlash 210).
Customer Review: Racing w/ the Transcend 4gb sdhc sd card Summary: 5 Stars
This Video using the Transcend 4gb card was done w/ an Aiptek A-HD 720p thru the A/V in as the recording cam, 4 bullet cams were mounted and wired to aiptek a/v in, the card preformed great no problems even doing 100mph around Toyota Speedway, you lose a little qual.on the video when compressed to upload to the web. but original footage and dvd's I make of the onboard footage are crystal clear. The Transcend 4GB is great as far as I'm concerned and I also plan to test the Transcend 8Gb in the near future.
