Customer Review: Just as great as any big brands

Having never heard of this company I was first skeptical of buying this card. But then thought these things either work or don't work and after all it is just a storage device and does not affect the quality of pictures taken. Even though this card is class 6 which is top of the line I was worried that may be a fine print somewhere and it will not work fast enough for burst modes specially at larger resolutions when file sized are large.
In the end I thought price is good lets buy it ... there is not much to lose. So I bought it together with Canon Rebel XSi.
And it works just great. I have take many many burst mode pictures in all light conditions and this card works simply works as promised. I don't see how other brand name card will work differently.
Strongly recommend it.

I have bought 3 of these when it was so cheap around $3.25ish (shipping included) I was basically fooled by the low price. The product came on time with nicely packaged. I used fine for about 3 months. Techinically used about 4~5 times. And my camera is able to read it but it cannot read from my computer. I tried testing on different computers, but still doesn't work. So I would definately say it's defect (2 unopened). I actually read lot of reviews sandisk vs transcend before buying. But in the end it was like this. Even though return policy of the store I bought from is 30 days, they gave me full refund on all 3 since the cost of sending to transcend company to re-issue new ones will out price the cost of the card. I guess I'm going to stick with sandisks from now on. They never failed me with CF on my Canon EOS.Customer Review: Unhappy with warranty service

I purchased this card in 2007, at the prevailing price which was considerably higher. It stopped working a few months ago. I contacted Transcend USA for warranty replacement. I received a response and RMA number. I complied with the instructions and mailed the memory back to them with the RMA number and address on the outside. About 14 days later I received it back from the post office saying it had been refused by the recipient. The envelope was cut on the short end cleanly, presumably by some sort of a letter opening device. I have contacted Transcend and supplied the information that they requested to investigate, but subsequent emails and phone calls are unanswered. For such an inexpensive item this whole episode seems quite silly. Caveat emptor... Buyer beware.Customer Review: Solid, reliable, and good price

I bought four of these cards for use in my Nikon D80 on a recent trip to southeast Asia. They did exactly what an SD card is supposed to do, and the speeds are relatively quick and the capacity is good for the price. What more can one say about a memory card?
I know some people have had trouble with this (and other) cards crashing, and all I can say is that I have never had that problem with any cards (I have only used Olympus XD cards, and Kingston and Transcend SD cards), but that I am careful to reformat the cards in the device I am using before the first use, and then after every time after I download from the card. From what I have read, that is the key to keeping cards from getting corrupted and crashing.

I can't review the item as I have no idea what Flash Memory Cards are as I didn't order the product and returned it without opening it. I ended up with the Flash Memory Cards and not the book I thought I had ordered as Amazon provided incorrect information to the seller. Note to all: Check your order Amazon confirmation ASAP. This review process requires that in order to have my review posted, I have to rate the product. Even though I have no experience with the product, I chose to rate it a 5 so as to avoid any negativity around the seller, who was great at rectifying Amazon's error.
