Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Transcend 32 GB 133x CompactFlash Memory Card TS32GCF133Customer Review: TRANSCEND 32 GB COMPACT FLASH CARD Summary: 5 Stars
THIS IS A SLOWER 133 x CARD, BUT I DO A LOT OF STILL PHOTOGRAPHING
OFF A TRIPOD, AND DO NOT NEED THE SUPER FAST CARDS. I'M USING THIS
32GB COMPACT FLASH CARD IN ONE OF MY FOUR DIGITAL CAMERAS, WITH THIS
ONE BEING USED IN A fUJI S-9000 - 9Mp CAMERA, WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS,
AND AT THE 9 Mp RESOLUTION THE CARD STORES 13,940 PHOTOS, GIVE OR TAKE
A FEW, WHICH ALLOWS ME TO SHOOT ALL DAY WITHOUT CHANGING MEMORY CARDS.
I RECCOMMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO DOES A LOT OF STILL NATURE PHOTOGRAPHING
LIKE I DO.

Customer Review: Great Option if you Hate Changing CF Cards mid-shoot Summary: 4 Stars
It's always a gamble buying memory, since next week it may be half the price, but I had to go for this GIANT card. I love being able to fit all my photos on it and not have to keep track of multiple cards. Card has performed admirably so far, and it is priced a lot better than the competition.
UPDATED 4/9/09 - Card is still working perfect, never a glitch even with heavy use. When you want to delete all the photos on a card, be sure you use the "format" option in camera instead of the "erase all." It'll keep the filing system cleaned up.
Customer Review: Huge space, great price Summary: 5 Stars
I use this with the Canon EOS 40D and it works perfectly with all functions, including continuous shooting. Massive storage for long trips or shooting sessions. People argue not to put all your eggs in one basket and to buy several smaller cards. I think this is bunk! If these cards work to begin with they will continue to work unless damaged by the user. This is only going to happen outside the camera or while inserting and removing, so switching smaller cards frequently will only increase your chances of damage!
Customer Review: Replace iPod 3rd Generation Hard Drive Summary: 5 Stars
I replaced a 15GB hard drive with the Transcend 32GB compact flash card and have had flawless performance for over a year. The memory has not failed and takes very little power to operate. As a result the iPod battery last over 8 hours. It use to last 1 hour with the hard drive.
The price is very affortable when you compare the price of a simular storage sized NEW iPod.
My old 3G iPod has a new life and I see this working for many years to come...
Customer Review: Expectedly slow, but a great value for a large card. Summary: 5 Stars
This card is a great value for 32gb and wonderful for the large files produced by the Canon 5D Mark II. The slow read/write speed means the camera buffer takes a bit longer to clear and it's somewhat slow uploading to the computer, but it's not a problem with proper planning for these limitations. The one concern I had with the speed was if it could keep up with the 38mb/s video recording of the 5DII, which it does just fine.
