Customer Review: Why spend money on expensive SD Cards?

Why would you want to spend 2x 3x 4x times your hard earned money for a popular name on your SD Card when this card works wonderfully. If you are an average amature photographer or one that takes photos as a hobby this is the card for you. I use these cards in my Pentax K10D and K100D and shoot RAW and JPG shots as many as 100+ a day and have never had any problem with these cards. They are not High Speed but if you are not shooting more than 3 burst shots at a time they are just what you need.
Faster cards are good if you need them but let me tell you unless you are a professional shooting studio shots you do not need to look for the newer faster cards at 3 or 4 times the cost. You have all you need here in this Transcend TS2GSDC memory card.

Customer Review: Ok - Card , slightly slower performance

I bought this card a month back from Amazon. It works and has disk space what is advertised. However, it is slower than other cards. In comparison, it is far slower than Panasonic one and is slower than Kingston one with the same capacity. This I can witness when capturing a video clip from my Panasonic FZ30 camera. With this card, it requires atleast a 2 seconds lag before camera becomes ready for next shoot. However this is of course is not a case with what others card I have; in Panasonic no lag and with Kingston about a 1/2 sec.
This is a good card, if you are not considering in-camera write speed. Rest is ok and no problem found, and really worth with the given price, at least far cheaper than Panasonic one.
Customer Review: Tape can fix anything!

I have no complaints for this product specifically, it works great! However, if you use SD cards as often as I do, you know that they tend to have the sliding lock on the side. And you also know that with this lock comes the headache you get when you insert the card (into the computer) and it locks itself. However, a little piece of scotch tape over the unlocked slider can prevent this from being a problem, keeping the slider in place.
Other than that, I got this card for $.29 (+ shipping), so I am very happy to report that there is absolutely nothing wrong or strange about it!
Hopefully someday soon SD cards come with a lock that doesn't require extra at-home-assembly.
Customer Review: Cheap, but you get what you pay for

I purchased this SD card before a long awaited trip to Europe. My seller was excellent, I recommend them to everyone. The product, however, is a different story. I pluged the card in to my Kodak camera and I was ready to go. The card captured all pictures and videos. The problem is the only works in the camera or on my laptop. None of the Rite Aid, CVS style instant developer machines read the card. The machines just say no media found, and yes I went to more then one machine. The is a hassle, because now you can only order the prints online and wait days for them to come. Oh well, I guess this is what happens when you cheap out.Customer Review: An Equal Product for a Better Price

I'm not sure why there is a difference in price between this product and other products. Other products seem to offer no additional benefits. Perhaps the quality of the materials is higher (such as harder plastic, etc.). However, for a product that mostly remains inside a camera, I doubt the importance of the product's construction. This SD card has worked superbly, no disappointments. I see nothing in the quality or function to justify such a low price. It's just a good bargain. I would buy this brand of storage device in the future.
