Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of TRANSCEND 4GB SD CARD (133X)Customer Review: Can't beat the price Summary: 5 Stars
well since my S3 IS doesn't do SD HC cards I have to use regular SD cards.
That the 150X cards haven't come down in price well....I started looking for a more affordable alternative and I do shoot enough vedio on my camera that getting a slow or unrated card is out of the question in my book.
and I shoot a heck of allot of pictures to so I do really need the 4GB space.
when going on vacation to Disney 4 days all 4 parks and no puter to download cards to there was no way 4 cards was enough so I looked at the price and picked up 2 of these Transends. I've got 3 of the 4GB 150X (bought them last year at 50.00 and they are still in that price range!) and I can't complain at all about those and
yes
the two new 133x cards worked just fine!
at well below half the price of the 150x and only 17x slower!
absolutely great deal!
Customer Review: This is the card to get for the Wii. Summary: 5 Stars
What makes the Transcend SD card so great for the Wii?
For those who like to buy WiiWare and Virtual Console games, 4GB is more than enough. You might even be able to store photos and music on it along with games.
The transfer speeds between the Wii console and the Transcend SD card are very fast compared to other SD cards, which makes starting a game from the SD Card Channel hassle-free.
Certain disc based games, like Animal Crossing and Excite Truck, have features that use the SD card. Since a lot of games were made before the Wii allowed SDHC cards to be used, only regular SD cards like this one will work, and not SDHC.
After the 6 months that I've owned it, it still works, so I'd say it's very reliable.
If you want an SD card for the Wii, this is the one to get.
Customer Review: Huge space but very poor speed Summary: 2 Stars
I bought this SD card because my GPS can not support SDHC but only SD card with speed higher than 80X. So I tough that 133X will be more than perfect. What i did not know was that transcend has overrated the speed of this product. I do believe that it is maximum a 50X. I am personally very disappointed but it was so cheap that I cant afford to return it. So it will go as part of my useless collection and now I am using the old 2Gb and 120X from kingston which is amazingly fats compared with the 133X from transcend. If you are looking for storage space, this is the card for you but if you are in a quest of speed, just forget this and try something else.
Customer Review: Works Excellent... With Some Tweaking Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this for my Palm T|X because it is one of the few 4GB SD cards that isn't HCSD (which my Palm can't read). At first the card was very, very slow. I formated it a couples times using windows, using my Palm, but neither improved performance. I finally downloaded a free sd card formatting program from Panasonic (Link: [...])
It took a looong time for the program to format the card but it was well worth the wait because now it runs just as fast as any other card I've even used.
In short, with a little help from Panasonic, this card works awesome.
Customer Review: Not what I was hoping for... Summary: 3 Stars
This card does not seem to want to work with my laptop card reader. I am therefore having a lot of trouble getting anything to load onto it. My DELL Axim x50v however, reads it just fine, so if I want to load this card with files I have to do it through my sync cable. This is not ideal at all and takes forever to move gigs worth of files from my computer to the card--I think even slower than my CF card! I wish it worked as well as my variety of other 2 gb sd cards I own. This is not at all what I was hoping for...
