I own several Transcend 2gb SD 150x cards and they work great in all my things. I have a Vista Laptop with built in SD reader. I have an external SD card reader for my WinXP Desktop PC. I have a Canon SD600 camera. And I have a Toshiba PDA from 2003. None of these take SDHC cards. So when I found this high speed 4gb card that was not SDHC, I immediately bought 1. And the price was great.
So I plug it into my camera. Not recognized. I put it into my Laptop. Vista tells me I need to format. Hours go by and no progress at all. I put it into my PDA and it seems to be ok there. I put it into my external card reader on my WinXP PC and it recognizes that it needs to be formatted, but it tells me to insert a disk.
So this is pretty useless to me. I wanted it for my camera. Beware of this card if you are looking for non SDHC higher than 2gb. Stick with the 2gb cards. I have no problems with any of those I purchased including Sandisk, Transcend, OCZ, A-Data, and Kingston. This is the first and only card that does not work properly.
