Customer Review: Product Description is very misleading

I thought the product description was purposely misleading. I get that sometimes items have manufacturing problems and can fail, but writing a description that is purposely inaccurate is a tough pill for me to swallow. Here are two examples why (I won't mention the lack of digital tuning as so many people have already mentioned it.
I wanted two things out of an alarm clock. 1) I wanted to be able to have two different alarms and I wanted to be able to set each alarm to a different buzzer. I would have a "you should get up" sound and a "you better get up now you bum" sound. The description made it sound like I could set each alarm to different settings. Well I guess technically that's true but what it really means is that you can set your #1 alarm to the CD or the Buzzer and you can set your 2nd alarm to either Nature Sounds or the Radio. The worst part is that if you go to bed listening to a CD, when the alarm goes off in the morning it will automatically play track 1 from the CD. So if you ever want to have a buzzer sound for your alarm you can't use the CD player at night. The only way the buzzer will sound is if there is no CD in the player or the CD player drive is open. I like to go to bed listening to soft classical music but it's not enough to wake me up in the morning so now I can't. The 2nd buzzer is the same way. If you're listening to nature sounds when you fall asleep (and set the sleep timer), when you wake up it will play nature sounds. I wanted to go to bed listening to the ocean waves but it's not enough to wake me up in the morning so now I can't use it. Really lazy design by Timex and when they realized their design was horrible they wrote up a product description that would hide it from you until you bought it.
2) The other misleading thing is that the product says it has a "back up battery". Well, what they don't tell you until you open up the manual is that if your power goes out at night, thus engaging the backup battery, the alarm will NOT SOUND. All the backup battery does is save your settings. The whole freaking point of a backup battery is that if your power goes out you won't get fired from your job or miss your plane because the Alarm will still sound. More idiotic design that you won't know until you buy the product and read the manual.
They have a lot of nice features on the box which is why I bought it in the first place, but many of them don't work very well because of terrible design.
