I haven't been disappointed with any TDK CDs or DVDs that I have puchased. I no longer buy Maxell because I was getting up to 10 bad ones in each spindle. Even though Maxell is the least expensive per spindle, it is a major waste of time to deal with defective media and that obviously affects the price per disc. I complained about this to my brother-in-law who is an audio and video DVD hobbyist. He told me to go try TDK and he was right, as far as I can tell.Customer Review: 50% Failure Rate

these blank dvd+r are cheap and they suck it takes me 2-3 attempts to copy a movie onto them. i am using nero 7 premium, dvd fab platinum and dvd shrink to burn my dvds with i have two HP DVD burners 16x, and i have used sony 16x blank dvds and HP 16x blank dvd's and no problem what so ever. I get the TDK and burn process fails until 2nd or 3rd attempt i will never buy another TDK product again, nor would i suggest whomever is reading this.

I purchased these disks expecting I was getting a good price. Unfortunately, these disks had a high failure rate when I tried to burn them on my PC DVD burner (at least half had burn errors). I thought the problem might be in my burner so I tried it with two others and still wasted about half. They seem to record without problems on my DVD recorder, but I have only tried a few so far. I used another brands (Sony, etc.) and they work fine on my PC.Customer Review: Great value, no problems

These are fine, a very good value. No complaints, no problems. I store my VHS tapes on them, because VHS and VCRs are going out fast, obviously. If you need a place to store these, I recommend this: MaxellBlank Media, CD/DVD Paper Sleeve 100 (just like the ones you get in books with CD companions). I recommend these, and the aforementioned CD sleeves.Customer Review: they work perfectly fine

I've used almost 1000 of these and they're extremely reliable with my HP 1140 burner. For those reviewers who have experienced unsatisfactory results, it has been my experience that different DVD burners usually have more compatibilty with certain brands of blank media compared to other brands of blank media. For your own DVD burner drive, you'll need to try different brands (maybe even lots) to find the most compatible disks for your needs.
