Customer Review: Works but....

It works right out of the package and it does what it's suppose to. The only thing I was a little mislead by was the fact that some people on here mentioned the LED lights were BLUE but mines are green it's not a big deal but I just thought having blue LED lights would go good with my setup. Other then that little super minor thing the product seems good I've only been using for a couple of days so I can't really say how long it will last me but I hope it hangs in there. ***UPDATE*** after about a week of using this product I have noticed that it can't handle too many things plugged into it at once. Right now I'm only using 2 of the ports one to power a USB toy and the other one to power my external hard drive. I tried connecting my printer into the 3rd usb slot and it recognized my printer at first but when I tried printing something it kept saying that my printer was turned off and a message popped up saying USB device not recognized. I then disconnect my printer and plugged it in directly into my laptops USB ports and the printer worked fine. So I'm guessing it can't handle any heavy duty devices on it, so it's only good to power on certain things that don't require that much power. I also tried connecting my wireless USB mouse to it and it seems to lag a lot when connected through this USB hub once I connect it back directly to my laptops USB port it seems to work fine so like I said before this is not designed for really 4 devices on at a time. I think that's why they provided the on and off feature on each USB port so you can turn off a device that is not in use therefore distributing more power to a device that you are using. Overall its a decent product and I will have to work with it I will definitely will not be using for anything that requires more power like connecting my USB microphone into it or anything that might cause a lag to the connection. I just like the overall look of the product and the short connection make it a convenient thing to have but I wouldn't recommend it for someone who wants to connect a lot of things at once because it will not handle it.
