I recently purchase the Surefire E2D LED Defender and bought a box of these at the same time. I've had the light for a couple of months now and I'm still using the batteries that came with the light. I suppose they're good, but honestly, I don't know if they're any better than a comparable brand. Maybe I paid a little bit more for these, but I had the $, I'm lazy, and you can't go wrong with Surefire!
So if you're like me, don't waste more time looking for batteries and wondering if they're as good.... Just pay a couple extra bucks and don't worry about it.

I just wanted to post a review to let everyone know that the batteries I received today had a Nov 2020 expiration date. I can't speak for batteries being shipped in the future but I can say that I received three FRESH boxes.
These batteries might be a bit more expensive but I think the peace of mind is worth it. I've never had any trouble with any surefire products. I sleep soundly at night knowing that when I'm battling the undead after the zombie apocalypse, my flashlight won't let me down.

If you use a high performance flashlight, buying batteries over the counter can be prohibitively expensive. I've seen prices as high as $7 for 2 batteries. Get them by the box, from the manufacturer (Surefire) or your local gun store if possible and you will save money.
These types of batteries have a very long shelf life and can be difficult to locate in an emergency (i.e. after a hurricane or other natural disaster). Stock up and store them in a cool dry place.

I've gone through several boxes using my Surefire G2 and G3. Long lasting batteries, stay bright deep into their life cycle. Li batteries are also exceptionally light if you are used to alkaline, a few of these as spares in your pack go unnoticed on the trail. Only downfall I have had thus far is they are pricey. As another reviewer mentioned, these are available for almost half price on Surefire's website, not typical for Amazon.Customer Review: Excellent batteries!

I'm going to brief and to the point. Surefire lithium batteries are, in my estimation, THE BEST batteries you can get for LED flashlights. They're staying power in astounding!!! I would NEVER consider buying anything less for my LED flashlights...until something better comes along.
Sure they're expensive, but the BMW of batteries should be. Long story short...cheap is expensive!
