I bought this for my mother-in-law but she had something she liked better, so I kept it. It's used daily in our house. I sometimes leave it plugged in overnight so I can have hot tea quickly in the morning. I live in an area of very hard water, so I only use water from our reverse osmosis filter system. The result is that the pot is like new inside. Sometimes it gets a bubble of air and dispensing slows, but all I do is lift the lid and put it down again, and it resumes its normal flow strength. That's the only trouble I've had with it. Mine was bought new, and I hope it keeps working for many more years.
