Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Eforcity Black 6FT /2 Meter HDMI Male to DVI Male CableCustomer Review: Excellent cable Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this cable from thecellphoneshop. When I bought it it was priced at $.98 plus $2.98 shipping. I just happened to look again after receiving mine and they raised the price to around $3 for the cable. I can see a possible reason for that... The cable I received was wrapped in black and blue striped mesh. A nice heavy-duty cable with gold connectors... The cable is fantastic. I'm extremely happy with it and I'm glad I was lucky enough to get it when it was still $.98 as it's well worth more than even the current price.
Customer Review: great cable considering cheap price. Summary: 5 Stars
This item worked great. I have it connected from the DVI port of my XFX HD 4890 graphics card to an HDMI port on my Sony 32EX400. I was a bit worried I'd get a dud like some others have, but thankfully that wasn't the case.
Shipping was super fast for me, about 2-3 business days from placing the order.
Only one negative I guess would be the fact that the cable doesn't send audio over the DVI/HDMI cable, probably because it's missing some pins, but oh well, wasn't a big deal for me.
Customer Review: It does it's Job Summary: 5 Stars
Plain and simple, hooked up my computer up to the big LG lcd tv. Simple and it worked. Had to of course adjust the settings on the card and the zoom aspect settings on the tv but that is to be expected with this type of connection. Quick delivery and great price. Picture looks great, vibrant colors, makes it all sorts of fun to watch movies off the computer. So if you need this cable this one does the job.
and eforcity is also a good thing, They've never let me down in anyway, they rock!
Customer Review: Don't get for Macs Summary: 1 Stars
I got this to connect my MacBook Pro to an HDTV, to no avail. When I connected it, the screen would flash blue once then refuse to detect the external display. I took the setup in to an Apple Store, where switching computers had the same effect. We then switched to their $26 Belkin DVI to HDMI cable and had everything work perfectly.
Yeah, it's only a few dollars on Amazon with shipping, but it's not worth even that for Mac users - this seems to be a frequent problem.
Customer Review: cable was fine, but costumer service was bad, really bad Summary: 2 Stars
It was kind of my fault i tried talking to them via e-mail they didn't really cared much for me, which is fine i made gthe mistake but they could have helped a little more, i needed a dsub dvi to hdmi, and they told me to explain it more and what not i did and they just didn't help me much after that so i had to go to [...] to find the right wire because they helped me so. over all i never had chance to try it, but i would never buy from this company again unless i absolutely had to!
