After a rebate, I got paid a dollar to take this. How could I pass up a deal like that? I'm very glad I bought this. I am very hard on my personal electronics, and both my phone and nano go flying at least once a week. I was using the Agent 18 Shock Kit cover and wasn't entirely happy--I didn't think it absorbed shocks well, the rubber bumpers fell off, and it was very hard to take my nano out of it. I absolutely love this Speck cover. My 2nd gen nano fits into it perfectly and it protects very, very well. I really love the ridges; they make it much easier to find while rooting around in my bag. I just wish it was clear so I could actually see the red on my nano, but at least the center button shows red.Customer Review: awesome

I put this thing on the day it came in the mail, and dropped it the next day. Thankfully, it kept my purchase from harm. The protection here is great, that was precisely what i was looking for.
The skin is made of a tough rubber it feels like, it was a little hard to get it over the iPod, but it certainly stays on without any trouble. The screen protector is awesome, it has a ring of rubber around the back of it to keep it from scratching up against your iPod's screen.
This was an excellent purchase for me, im overseas right now, and need something to keep all the sand out of my iPod, and keep it from getting beat up in the truck. Thank you Speck Products.

Great protection for the ipod nano while leaving the hold button, wheel, and adapter port open and easily accessible. I use the toughskin generally only for running with my nike + ipod kit and both products are terrific! If you have an ipod and like to run I can't recommend both the toughskin and the nike products more!
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars however, is because the clear clip is a POS! The first time you clip it to anything you can feel the plasic bending to the brink of snapping right off. However, for me personally, I actually had a perfect black clip to replace that one with and couldn't be happier.

This cover works great! It looks good and fits very nicely over my iPod Nano. I can easily access the dial as well as the ports and switch. While the belt clip isn't the best I've seen, it's functional for light duty. I also like the hard plastic cover that fits over the display screen, which apparently is an Achilles heal for the Nano. The only minor drawback is the black rubber material acts as a static magnet for stuff like lint, dust, hair, etc. If you don't mind occasionally wiping this stuff off, it's no problem! Overall, it's a great value; it protects my Nano very well, and that's why I bought it in the first place.Customer Review: For free its good

Cons:
1. very thick
2. very bulky - with this thing on the nano is no longer nano
3. plastic is too cheap/pliable
4. does not fit well
5. plastic around the circle for the controls is very thick - unless you have fingers like q-tips you will hit the middle button instead of the others all the time
6. the list price is ridiculous for a piece of low quality plastic
