Just received this, Fits like a glove, I also bought the IPOD Classic 160-Newest version and needed something to protect it, and i found it... rubber grip makes dropping the IPOD because it slips from your hand very difficult.. i have owned similar products for other players and i would not have an IPOD without some type of protection against falls, and ESPCIALLY slippery fingers! I was worried that the new IPOD might not fit, but the spacer provided makes it fit perfectly... even without the plastic cover i would have bought it!
Strongly recommend it if you have an IPOD.. and don't want to let it slip out of your hands!

I'm very glad I went with the Speck Armorskin Case. It grips well so I don't have to worry about my ipod tumbling around my car, it fits perfectly with my 120GB, I'm more at ease about the safety of my ipod because it feels think and well made, and the screen is high enough quality so that I can see through it easily. The only problems are that the opening by the bottom port is not large enough for my itrip to work and I think that the screen is getting scratched a little. However, the latter issue is expected and is hardly an issue at all.
Overall, I am VERY satisfied with this product and at this price it's hard to beat!

this case holds my ipod very well. better than i thought. all the holes line up perfectly with and and i was easy to put the ipod in it.
it really cover up the ipod well. all that shows is the scroll wheel. its quite thick and has some weight to it which dosent bother me since i know its durable and i dont like anything that dosent have mass to it. the case seems like it will cusion the shock of the ipod hitting the ground although i dont want to find out whether it will or not. i assume it will do its job based on all the rubber surrounding it. i recommend you buy this because its woth it in my opinion.

I'm very happy with this case. It fits the current generation iPod Classic (160) perfectly. The iPod is held snugly by the thick rubber and all of the controls are easily accessible. I also find that it is very easy to take off the cover for use with speaker docks and whatnot. The only drawback is the bulk is adds to the otherwise slim iPod, to the point where it isn't really practical to slip it into a pocket. But, I think this is a fair tradeoff for the protection it provides. I actually "tested" mine the other day by mistakenly dropping my iPod onto pavement from 3-4 feet up. This is a solid case that definitely protects my iPod. I have a 7G iPod classic and didn't like the spacer in the back (needed for compatibility with the 5G iPod) because it makes the whole thing really thick. However, I really like the plastic in the front, the hole with the molded edge for the wheel makes the touch wheel really easy to use. Now I unfortunately cannot use this case because I am using a Belkin cup-holder dock in the car, which is not adjustable and cannot accommodate this case. I find it really hard to use the iPod touch wheel without this ArmorSkin case.
