First of all, I spent $20 on this unit with free shipping through Prime. For that price I love it. I keep it in the bathroom to listen while I shower and get ready.
-The remote is nice and it sounds good in a small room.
-The bass is shallow
The unit is def worth $20 but I wouldn't pay any more for it, especially if you need something as your primary sound system. The 4 stars I have given most certainly reflect the price I paid. At $40+, I would give it 2 or 3 stars.

I checked the box for "order both" which was one iH80B and one JBL On tour Portable, but got two iH80B speakers. My fault as I confirmed the order prior to submitting it, but not the confirmation which showed two iH80B speakers. Hassel to return, so I will find a way to use the double shippment and get by without the portable system. The price was the same for both products, so I did not spend any more money. Oh, the spreaker system works fine for my Nano iPod. Good sound and easy to use.Customer Review: Doesn't really work with 3rd Gen iPod

I bought this for use with a 3rd Gen 20GB iPod. It is a docking iPod, with a touch wheel and buttons. If I put the iPod into the speaker when it's already playing, sound will come out. But, the iPod isn't charging. And, the screen freezes after about a minute of play. The music continues to play, but I can't use the remote or change songs. I've contacted the manufacturer's tech support and will change this review if they can tell me how to make it work. I just wanted to warn people.Customer Review: I'm loving this

I bought two during the gold box deal ($20) and gave one as a gift. I love how it has a remote and how you can listen to it while charging your ipod. When I turn it on, the noise radiates throughout the room and if loud enough, it can also through the next room. This is a great speaker, though wish it didn't require so many batteries to be portable. It's great for my use and it looks pretty good on your desk. (It works for my video ipod, but am not sure if it works with iphones).Customer Review: Enjoying the speaker

I was hesitant to order this based on the poor review, but the price was so excellent and the other reviewer liked it so I took a chance. The speaker works well and came with many pages of instructions and tips, but none were needed as it was pretty much a "plug and play" deal. The sound is what I was hoping for based on the wattage. I'm very glad I purchased it. If you're looking for Bose, buy Bose, but this is great for the money.
