Customer Review: An enourmous headache

I got this product as a Christmas gift a few years ago.
Initially, it worked great! It's design and size are wonderful. Aesthetically speaking, it's great.
I never mistreated it; it sat snugly on my desk and was never thrown around or tinkered with.
It wasn't until a few months after receiving it did the problems arise. This iHome "unplugs itself". It will turn off, on it's own. The first few times, it was just a minor inconvenience; it'd take me a few moments to reset the clock, and I'd go on with my day. After the fiftieth or so time, I started getting fed up, and never bothered with setting the clock at all. Now, I have to bother with the dang thing for 10+ MINUTES before it will decide to work on me. Even then, after a few moments of listening to my iPod on it, it would go kaput again.
I'm sick and tired to dealing with this overpriced piece of crap. If it weren't a Christmas gift, I would have returned it.
Don't waste your money on this product. You will want to chuck it across the room.

I bought this for my 8year daughter and it works great. It has a loud sound for such a little device. I haven't figured out how to program it to play music instead of the buzzer. This is the first time using an ipod so I didn't want to spend a alot of money for a new clock/music device for my daughter. She loves having the remote control that did come with it. I lke that it charges as it is playing and has a dimmer for when she is listening to her ipod at night. I feel this a good product for its price and I would recommend it and buy one for son (black one) when he gets an ipod. It's nice a small which works great for a night stand and small desks.

I bought this as a gift for a 9 year old girl. She loves it. The alarm wakes her up every morning with her ipod set to whatever song she wants. The pink side lights have been deemed very cool and they dim down to nothing if you like to sleep in total darkness.
She has an ipod nano 3rd edition and so it does come with the correct adapter, but the ipod fits in alright anyway- just not perfectly snug. It is also nicely compact so that she can take it all over the house (wherever there is a plug) or leave it next to her bed. Kind of wish the remote came with it, but it would probably just get lost anyway. Overall, excellent purchase.

I like this alarm clock for its color and space saving size. I had read other reviews on it saying you could not turn the glowing lights all the way off, but you can! I also read a review that said the ipod nano 3g does not work with it, but that is the ipod I have and it works great! The sound is great and I love waking up to my favorite songs on my ipod! The only down side for me was there was no remote with it and that you had to buy the remote separately. Although, I was able to use the remote that came with my under the counter ihome to change the volume and songs on the alarm clock. I think this a great product for the price!Customer Review: Superb!

This product is great! The features are what really make it special. I love being able to play my iPod through the speakers (great sound), charge my iPod, and even wake up to my iPod. The two pink lights on the side are really cool, and what's great is that the brightness can be turned up and down, so it is easily specified to any condition. I got this for my girlfriend, and she can was able to use it without any problems. There are not any hard or difficult instructions, all straight to the point and simple to use.
All in all, this is a great product and truly worth the money.
