I bought this unit almost two years ago for an apartment when working overseas. It worked very well with my Ipods (mini, classic) as well as any friends Ipod that came by. Very good sound quality for the size. Setting the alarm isn't that tricky, but you do have to hit the light to see the time at night. A back light feature would be a plus. Now that I'm not traveling for work, my daughter has staked claim to the clock for her Ipod. So far she has had no problems with it either.Customer Review: Static at its Worse!

While the ipod is attached to this unit there is constant static which makes listening to my music terrible. As a previous review stated the sound, at its lowest volume, is way to loud for being in the sleep mode. Contacting the company representative was a giant waste of time. The two suggestions they made did nothing to resolve this problem. I had recently purchased an iPod alarm clock from a different brand that had spa sound on it and it never worked so I decided to try this clock. It is excellent. It always wakes me for the time I set it. The speakers have a good quality for just simply playing music from your iPod on the clock. I also like that it has a dimmer switch so that it is not too bright for sleeping. I would highly recommend the purchase of this Alarm Clock.Customer Review: Worked fine for 2 days then DEAD.

Okay, so I was all excited about having an iPod docking station/alarm clock for the bedroom.... easy to set up, easy to program, came with all kinds of attachments for various iPods.
Working fine for 2 days then just died. checked power outlets, ports, settings, troubleshooting manual, looked online for tips, etc... nothing worked. just dead in 48 hrs of use.
just cant make a good recommendation on it, sorry!

I searched high and low for a good ihome and finally found one. It's the perfect size to put on a desk. I have it in my dorm room and people are always commenting on it. The volume level is good and it does not over charge your ipod. The only thing I don't like is the bright light; I like to sleep in complete darkness. I'm glad it can be adjusted or turned off. Over all, this is a good product and not big and bulky like those $100 ihomes.
