Digital Cameras Photo Reviews of Skullcandy Smokin Bud In Ear S2SBBR-BZ (Black Rubberized)

Customer Review: Fell apart after 5 weeks...
Summary: 1 Stars

These earbuds SUCKED!! I listen to music going from building to building and in between classes while I'm on campus. My dad recommended skull candy so I decided to try em out. I spent $35 for these at Best Buy because I had a giftcard that my boyfriend gave me for my birthday. So I purchased em and loved the sound that came out of them! I also loved the fact that it had volume control because I'm kinda picky about my volume. After 5 weeks of GENTLE use, the wire connection broke. 35 bucks down the tubes. Buy somethng else.

Customer Review: Muffeled at low volumes
Summary: 5 Stars

I was very excited to get these seeing i have only used dollar store types before and to be completely honest, i was a little dissapointed. The overall constuction is very good, and i read from another reviewer how he used the volume control to mute his music when being spoken too. The olny thing i did notice is that at low volumes the music tends to me alittle muted. Ganted, i am no audiophile but, i have ben useing them, oh, one good point, is by far the most comertable i have ever used. Maybe explore there other offerings.

Customer Review: Poor sound quality
Summary: 1 Stars

There is nothing above 10kHz or so. Totally dead sound. No clarity. The highs cannot be recovered even with heavy equalizer adjustment. The bass seems fine by itself, but I think it becomes garbled in the presence of other sounds or body motion. The warranty is useless - read their website before buying. The buds make a loud painful noise as they settle and seal just after you've inserted them. And while you're walking, the bouncing causes distracting shifting sounds much more than non-sealed earphone designs.

Customer Review: EXTREMELY OVERRATED!!!!! PIECE OF JUNK!!!!!
Summary: 1 Stars

i dont know how anyone could think these are better than ANY of the ipod earbuds. these wont stay in your ear. they hurt when they do even though they have adjustments. the sound quality is very poor. they remind me of those cheap complimentry pairs that come with a dell laptop. these also broke on me within 2 weeks of getting them. do yourself a favor and stick with ipod earbuds. theyre the best for the cost that youll find. these smoking buds were a very poor investment that i regret.

Customer Review: They're great if you want to spend $30 every month
Summary: 3 Stars

I love these headphones; they fit well, they're comfortable, and I the sound quality is good.

The problem with them is that they stop working after a month or two. I don't know if that's just because I don't treat them as well as I should by carrying them around in my pocket, but I feel like $30 headphones should be able to stand up to being coiled in a pocket for more than a month.

In a nutshell: the headphones are great, but I can't afford them anymore.
