Customer Review: Beautiful Headphones, Disappointing Audio

For $30, I assumed I was getting these headphones, which are extremely nice looking, for a decent price, since I had also assumed that they would be up to par with Skull Candy's normal quality. Unfortunately, they sound horrible and sit on the head awkwardly. The sound is rough and scratchy sounding, and the noise cancellation advertised on the page is almost nonexistent. The headphones themselves are so awkwardly shaped and strangely movable that, while they may look nice and normal on the page, you literally have to fight with them to get any sort of comfort.
They fold in the middle, the two phones are able to spin and bend on their own, and the tabs that let you extend the headphones are rigid and difficult to alter. These may sound like mostly nice features, but combined, it means that you can't move at all without them moving around, meaning you have to fix them every 30 seconds.
The only reason I even got the pair is because I wanted durable, over-the-ear headphones, instead of the in-the-ear phones which go bad after a couple of months of continuous wear. So, basically, if you buy Skull Candy, be ready to choose either crappy quality phones that last a long time, or nice quality phones that need to be replaced often.
