Customer Review: Who Knew Skulls Could Taste This Good!

For under $20 these little babies are a steal. Don't bitch about quality cause no earbuds are durable unless you are willing to shell out over $100. Let me keep this brief: I am absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the sound these things produce. I have a pair of sony monitors that I use for recording (Sony MDR-V6) and I find myself going to these skullcandy buds for everyday listening because they just sound that good. They don't have the soundstage that the Sony's do, obviously, but they have fantastic output and great bass, as well as good mids and highs.
Sound: You really need a good source to put these to use. On Crapple you probably won't tell a difference, but then again if you use iPooP you never cared about music quality anyway. On my Cowon S9 these sound amazing. I can crank the music all the way up with ZERO distortion. This is simply unheard of at this pricepoint. I have been using lower end crappy buds for over twenty years, and let me tell you, we have come a long long way.
Comfort: These are way more comfortable than my Sony cans, that's why I use them more; Light and tight (not too tight, but needed for good bass). I need in-ear buds shaped liked these because my ears don't work with the normal kind, like the crap you get free with an Mp3 player. I need these rubber ones that go in the ear canal. These block out tons of sound from outside. I can wear them all day and have no problems; I forget they are there. Also, they won't fall out exercising.
Durability: Before these, I had a pair of $100+ Shure ear buds that had amazingly crisp sound but no bass response at all. Plus, they broke after like a year. So I decided no more expensive buds cause they all have wiring problems eventually. From now on I am going to just buy disposable buds like these. I give them a year at best. I have had them 6 months with no hiccups. At this price, I would rather just buy a pair or two every year. I have never had a pair go more than a year or two anyway, regardless of the brand, even my expensive Shures.
One last thing: I have a pair of the cheap jbuds that everyone reviews here on Amazon and these are much better, though they are both decent for the price. I like these more because they fit better and the sound is much fuller.
