Customer Review: Not Skullcandy's Greatest Effort, Try the Sony Instead

Let's face it, some of us need ear hangers or some way to keep earphones from falling out. Or silicone tipped earbuds block out too much environmental awareness (can't hear anything but the music).
These two alternate sets from Sony are much better imho:
Sony MDR-J10 h.ear Headphones with Non-Slip Design (Black)
Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones
The first pair from Sony are earhangers, like these from Skullcandy.
The second pair are very light "over the head" headphones.
Both have good sound quality, comfortable fit, and let enough ambient sound in that you can remain aware of your surroundings. I especially like the Sony earhangers for Skype calls.
I bought these Skullcandy variants because the other Skullcandy in-ear, silicone tipped earbuds are SUPERB.
These are not.
They don't sound very good, and they have a funky design and construction, and they are hard to put on/take off compared to the Sony earhangers.
Sports Authority or Best Buy generally stock these; take a look at them before buying.
PS Skullcandy - pls come up with a better design. Most of your stuff rocks!
