To be fair to the product. There is nothing wrong with the docking kit. I'm 'reviewing' it because I thought everyone out there who owns a Sirius 10 or 100, or are thinking of purchasing one, should know that the vehicle kit is no longer being made and that the home docking station has become almost impossible to find for a 'fair' price. I wrote Sirius and their responses to my complaint regarding their lack of accessory support for the model 10 or 100 were laughable. This is the second Sirius Stiletto vehicle docking kit I have purchased. They are very portable so you can transfer them from vehicle to vehicle including boat and RV. I had one permanently installed in my truck, so I needed another one to transfer between my other vehicles and my boat. Comes with miniature remote control that works great or you can also easily change channels using the push buttons on the docking station itself. Highly recommend this kit for anyone who owns a Stiletto SL100.Customer Review: Great Value

Get a lot for the money - nice unit, high quality and it works well. I attached it to one of my dash panels with the super duty rigid type velcro (that "snaps together"). The occasional overheat lockups still occur with the SL100 but are not the fault of this unit. I find using the SL100 with the battery removed helps with the SL100's overheat issues . . . Very pleased with this purchase - surprised how well it works (when installed and used properly).Customer Review: Works fine for me.

I recently hooked my S100 up to my car and everything seems to work just fine. The only problem i had was setting the fm transmitter to a channel that didn't have any interference from radio stations. Problem solved by connecting Sirius's FM direct Adapter(which connects through the cars antenna plug). No more static in any city. So the only real problem is that this car kit doesn't come with the FM direct adapter which was $20.Customer Review: Frustrating and useless

Like the other reviewers, the FM transmitter isn't strong enough so I have static on every channel I try to use. It's like the old days of radio...if I hold the thing in my hand it's fine...if I set it down it's full of static. I know I don't have a bad one because I bought a second and it does exactly the same thing. Apparently unless you plan to connect it directly to your car's antenna, it's a total waste of money.
