I highly recommend this antenna to increase your use of Sirius in the house. I installed it myself right on the support mast of my DirecTV dish. I coupled this antenna with the Echo Home Wireless system. The Echo wireless system is available at Sirius.com for $129 but lots of other places for $99.
I routed the outside antenna cable to my basement (needed to drill one hole in my house to route the cable so you might need help if that worries you) No big deal really....just make sure you don''t drill through any other wires and make sure you seal the opening with silicone caulk when you're done.
I routed the antenna cable to the Echo transmitter in my basement and I get a great signal everywhere in my house.
I have the Sirius boom box so I mounted the echo antenna with some velcro to the top of the boom box so I can listen wherever I take my boom box. Even the driveway while washing the car or the back deck. Sweet reception.
This would also work great with the Sirius home dock but I don't have that.
This definitely enhances the value I get from my Sirius subscription. I recommend it highly.
