Customer Review: The price is right but 1 of 2 defective. Pushes LOTS of air.

Great price but 1 of the 2 fans I received has a rattle/vibration and is being returned. So SilverStone's quality control is questionable.
Pro's:
Great price/performance.
Wires are long and come with 3 pin and 4 pin connectors pre-wired - not an adapter.
Comes with extras - 120mm chrome grill (nice touch) and 8 fan screws (4 extra).
Pushed a LOT of air - but at the expense of noise. Not fan noise but the sound of moving air.
Con's:
Quality is questionable.
A fair amount of noise from moving air. It's noticeable but tolerable.
Other thoughts:
If air flow and value are your primary concerns, this is a good option. If low noise or silent operation is your goal, seek an alternative such as Cooler Master 120mm Case Fan - (R4-C2R-20AC-GP) or Cooler Master 120mm Silent Case Fan 4-in-1 Value Pack - (R4-S2S-124K-GP).
My Cooler Master RC-310-BWN1-GP Elite 310 ATX, MATX Mid Tower Case with Window (Black/Blue) was silent before I installed this item (one 120mm Coolermaster [1200rpm/17dBA] rear case fan and a 120MM PWM fan on my OCZ Vendetta CPU cooler). It's not loud now but there is noticeable airflow noise. I may put this in the rear of the case to reduce detectable noise. I would gladly pay a buck or two more if it had a built in speed control like some Antec fans. I'm not marking it down because of the air flow noise as it's not marketed as silent. Though I will be ordering one of the Coolermaster fans listed above for the front of my case instead of another one of these.
With a decent CPU cooler and "clean" case wiring, this kind of airflow is rarely needed. Example: I'm running an AMD Phenom II 555 Black edition (3rd core unlocked) @ 3725MHz, stock is 2 cores @ 3200MHz. Idle temps: Before this fan - case 30 degrees Celsius, CPU 33 degrees Celsius. After this fan - case 26 degrees Celsius, CPU 32 degrees Celsius.
Because I had 1 out of 2 defective, I feel this is a 3.5 star product but Amazon doesn't do half stars so I'm rounding up to 4 stars because of the value factor.
