At first I wasn't sure about this case.. It felt almost too exposed... Too bikini like... But as you snap it in place you're aware that it covers the really IMPORTANT parts.. (The corners) I couple this with a screen protector and my iPhone has survived full falls from my ear to the ground. (dirt and rocks as well as concrete) I could not ask of better protection, but at the same time a case that doesn't take up my whole pocket, or really even change the slim feel of the iPhone.
I cut up an old screen protector to cover the apple logo under the shield too. Probably over kill, but honestly, you can't tell.

I love this protector. I can do everything with my iPhone I want, it looks nice, and protects well. Very unobtrusive allowing me to insert into my phone holster without any problems at all what so ever. It has just enough rubbery quality on the surface to keep it from sliding around on slicker surfaces easily without the tacky quality of silicone cases. Heck, on a recent trip into a big box electronics store, the cellphone sales person was so impressed with it she wrote down the manufacturer info to check into it for her iPhone. My other protectors are in a box waiting for the recycler. I highly recommend this protector.Customer Review: great case!

After reading reviews on tons of cases I finally chose this one. Beautiful design, fits perfectly and protects well. Highly recommended.
Edit: After two years of abuse the case is in rough shape but still holding in its essential function. At least half of the matte covering has been scraped off revealing shiny black and several of the corners have broken off as well as the thin side pieces. The phone is still protected though and I still recommend the product. Just know that you will probably need to replace it every so often, which is to be expected, especially if you treat it unkindly like I did.

This case fits the phone very well. I was concerned that it would add too much heft to the handset, and I was wrong. It actually makes the phone feel better in your hand. It adds just the right amount of grip. It snaps on and off very easily, and actually covers the corners, unlike some other slim cases.
Overall, I'm very pleased. It seems like it will protect the phone well, and it looks very nice. As an added, bonus the packaging comes with some great bungled translations. My favorite is : "With Shield your cell phone is not the collection of fingerprints".
Highly recommended.

I love this case. It provides the perfect fit and feel for your 3G iphone. I like it more than the Cozip I had for for my 1G iphone (and I thought that was a great case). The Shield fits my 3G like a glove. Simple but well made. I live my life by the KISS rule, keep it simple stupid. And you wont be let down. I would recommend this case for anyone who wants to protect the back from scratches but doesn't want to hide the beauty of the iphone. I have tried many cases which cost way more with no real style and covers up everything. I am ordering 5 more today in different colors for my friends iphones.
