This shield works great with the iPhone. I use a film to protect the screen portion and the case protects the rest. It's stylish and sleek, so it doesn't take away from the aesthetics of the iPhone design. Details such as the small window in back to expose the logo are cool. Doesn't feel slippery in my hands yet it doesn't get stuck in your pocket like some of the rubber-type phone covers, and it's still thin enough to where I can fit my iPhone into my belt clip iPhone holder effortlessly. I dropped the phone on the sidewalk, and my phone wasn't even scratched. Course I wouldn't make a habit out of dropping it on hard surfaces, but I was very impressed it helped cushion the fall. I don't have any negatives at this time. I've had this protector for a month and extremely satisfied.Customer Review: Nice Shield for the iPhone

I like this shield. It fits my iPhone 3Gs very well, and it looks good. All the buttons and jacks are readily accessible. It interferes with nothing while offering polycarbonate protection to the back and sides of the iPhone.
I also purchased a holster for my iPhone, and the shield is slim enough to permit the iPhone in the holster without problem.
You do need to be aware that if you use your iPhone in a charging dock that uses an adapter to properly seat the iPhone while charging, you will have to either remove the shield or the adapter for the iPhone to seat in the charger. I simply use the charger without the adapter and am careful when placing the iPhone in the charger or removing it.
Would I recommend this shield to a friend? Yes.

Pros:
1. Well designed and offers a tight fit. Simply snaps on.
2. Cut out shows off the Apple logo.
Cons:
1. Don't expect it to give you a lot of protection from drops. It's good for protecting the iPhone from scraches and nicks from everyday use. The design leaves top and bottom exposed as well as the chrome edge of the display.
2. Small strip above the ringer and volume buttons gets in the way. It is very difficult to turn the ringer off without holding the iPhone an an angle to get your nail on the button. Turning the ringer on is easier. Takes a little more effort to position your finger to get to the volume rocker.
3. Not the slimmest of cases but good for the money.

Sure the sleek and thin case design is really nice. But give it a few weeks before you review. If you purchase a colored Shield Case (not the clear one), it has a matte coating over the hard plastic. From regular wear such as carrying the iphone in your pocket or purse, like most people do, the coating begins to peel off around the edges. Yes, it would be beautiful if I left it sitting on my desk, but for real world situations the quality of this coating blows. I'd prefer getting the case without the coating in the first place and have a clean smooth finish. Keep reading more reviews as I'm not the only one who waited more than a week to write a review and discovered this issue. - the plastic has nice texture and doesn't feel slippery
- good shape, snaps on the phone pretty well
- the cut outs that provide access to buttons are well done
Cons:
- the case doesn't cover the outer edges of the phone. Would be better if it snapped over and covered the entire edge.
- the top and bottom edges are completely exposed and get scratched VERY quickly by keys/change in your pocket
- I wish it didn't have the large cutout for the Apple logo on the back. It looks out of place and collects dust underneath the case.
- the material although has nice texture, scratches quite easily
