A recent relocation from 'down under' required me to purchase a voltage converter (or throw out my 220V or 240V electrics).
I chose the former, and now charge and run my Aussie electrics using this product - it's fantastic. There's no need for me to re-purchase these products in the US (yet) and I will be able to use the voltage converter 'down under' for electrics I purchase here.
Highly recommend this product if you're requiring a voltage converter.

What can you say about a reliable little box that just sits under your bunk and hums? I'm here with OIF/OEF with the US Army and we've got 220V power where we are...With this, I have 2 110V outlets and a 220V passthru, easy to change input voltages if I need 'em, and fuse protection.
It works. There's not much else needs be said! If you're looking for a SOLID and very reliable beast, this is it. I've seen lesser ones fry here - this one keeps working.

Bought the Seven Star TC500 in January but did not look at it closely til I got to Albania in February for 2 years. Although I was charged for a TC500 the company sent a simpler model, the ST500. The difference is the ST500 has only one outlet on the front for American style appliances, not two as shown in the photo of the TC500 on Amazon.
It works fine but I have exactly two appliances that need step up support.
I've not contacted Amazon customer service because I had only one "pass" through duty free customs here, and am now stuck with this inconvenience for two years. Don't trust this Amazon vendor!!

Arrived exactly as it said on the tin, on time and in prefect working order. I had my electric piano, lava lamp and a few other items shipped over from the UK to my apartment in California and all of them worked perfectly when I plugged them into this transformer. No noise and very very little heat generated even after many hours of it being in constant use.
Other people's comments seem harsh. The box was indeed bashed up a little, but anyone who knows anything about how heavy duty electrical items are stored should expect this, the item itself worked wonderfully and without any physical blemishes whatsoever.
Also for people complaining that there are no instructions, quite frankly, if you need instructions with this then you dont deserve to own anything worthy of plugging into it in the first place.
4 stars only, mainly because I`m mean, and to get 5 stars from me it would have had to arrive in the arms of a bikini clad Brazilian model - those UPS guys just dont do it for me.
