Customer Review: Great sound, decent noise cancelllation, but picks up interference

I bought these headphones because my Shure E2C's were starting to hurt my ears when I wore them too long. Overall, these headphones sound great but not as good as my E2C's. Noise cancellation worked great but not as good as the Bose ones as another reviewer claim. I work in a room with about 400 servers and it muffles the sound enough to make it tolerable to work.
The only annoying thing about these headphones is that it's prone to pick up interference once in awhile especially if used when a cell phone is nearby.

I normally use headphones in my work as a musician and bought these for use with my Ipod and they fulfill my needs perfectly in that respect. The sound re-production is great and the noise-cancelling feature further enhances the audio quality. They are not uncomfortable to wear for any length of time and I don't necessarily regard them as flimsy...just appreciably lightweight. I specifically bought these for air travel and have used them on several flights already. The noise cancellation feature works well and allows me to listen to music at reasonable volume levels. As a bonus I have noticed that I feel less tired upon arrival compared to before. This set is comfortable to wear and I use it at home also. I bought these headphones so I could watch my dvds on the plane from Nashville to LA. Last plane trip I couldn't hear any of the dialog with my earbuds. With these headphones I could hear everything except whispers. After getting the size adjusted, these were pretty comfortable. I am buying another pair for my daughter for our next long plane trip.Customer Review: Not very good.

The Bose quiet comfort are over twice the price but are 10 times as good. These do not cover your entire ear so noise still gets in. the noise cancelling is in a cylinder along the power cord and is very sensitive to movement. Any movement of the cylinder causes a reverberation in the headset. Go with the Bose. You will not be dissapointed.
