Customer Review: Long Term Review by Frequent User
Summary: 5 Stars

I have had these headphones for about a year now. I am a heavy user. I literally put my hedphones on as I roll out of bed in the morning and they stay on all day, except to shower.

I have bought other brands and models, looking for a better headphone for my use, but have not found anything better. I have a pair of Sennheiser ear buds, two Bose products and a set of some other brand that I spent more than $100 on. Nothing has replaced these yet.

I have found them to be extremely durable - especially compared to the other brands. I have caught them on clothes, my pets, door knobs, counter tops ... you name it and I have snagged it if I came within 3 feet of it. The headphones and the cord have done extremely well.

My only complaint would be the bright green color. I doubt that would be an issue for most people, but since I wear these ALL THE TIME and the color makes them more conspicuous, it has added to me getting grief for ALWAYS having headphones on. (I wear them all the time because I take every spare moment to listen to audio books or audio programs.)

Customer Review: Good sound, okay comfort
Summary: 3 Stars

After about a month of research I bought 2 headphones from Amazon, the PMX70 and PX100. These headphones were for use while on short distance travel or the morning walks and the treadmill. My primary headphone the Bose QC3 has a reserved place for long intercontinental journeys and the weekends. The headphones are used with multiple iPods (2nd generation to the iTouch).

The PMX70 sounds good for the price, though not too much of a difference when I compare with the older Sony over the ear open air headphones (they are too old now to see the model number and needed retiring after 3-4 years). At the same time I found the band a bit tight around the ears. Not something that I could wear for more than 30 minutes.

Whereas the PX100 was significantly better on comfort, and sound quality. I would though attribute the sound quality to the closed ear design.

So my vote goes to PX100 as compared to PMX70 on comfort and quality of sound, but my teenaged son loves the PMX70 for the style.

Customer Review: durable headphones
Summary: 4 Stars

I like to run outside, no matter what the weather is. I've broken 6 MP3 players over the last 5 years. Ipod shuffles (3), Nike/Phillips, RCA, and others. I've probably gone through at least as many sets of headphones. I wanted something that stayed in my ear (not 'buds'), was comfortable, and had good sound.
These headphones had by far the best sound and were easily the most comfortable. They still work well after 6 months. By far the best I've had. Although they were also the most expensive. It will be worth the extra money if these headphones make it through the winter.
The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is because its only been 6 months. If they are still working after winter, I will give them a perfect score.
The only issue I have is the sound in the right ear is louder that the sound in the left ear. But if I fiddle with the plug into the MP3 player, it gets better or worse. Its probably more an issue with the MP3 player, although it seams worse as both get older.

Customer Review: Had to update my review
Summary: 3 Stars

I liked these headphones but one of the speakers became distorted a few months after using the product. I finally got frustrated and tossed them. I had to bump my rating down from 5 stars to 3.

My original review:

These headphones stay put in your ear when you run/jump, which was my main criteria when deciding which headphones to purchase. All the other types of headphones I used before would never stay put in my ears when I run, but these do. Plus, the cord is long enough to drop your mp3 player in your pocket, which is where I put mine when I run. I have only had the headphones for a week, but so far they are exactly what I was hoping they would be when I purchased them: a great-sounding pair of headphones that stay put while running/jogging/working out. Something to note, if your ears are sensitive, you might find them slightly uncomfortable after wearing them for longer periods of time. For me, it is not an issue, and a small price to pay for headphones that don't budge.

Customer Review: Great Headphones, but could use a little better design
Summary: 4 Stars

I love the sound quality of these headphones for my workouts. I rarely use them for any other listening environments. The sound and fit work great for running and the clip for the headphone cord is a must have. I would like to see them add an adjustable piece so the headphones fit more snug against my head. These are not great headphones if you are doing any workout where you lie down, unless you have a huge head and these fit snugly. When i would lay down to do a bench press exercise or even to start my ab workout, the headphones would push forward almost to the point of popping out of my ears. The design is rigid which is nice for running but terrible for storage. I broke them once and am using a rigged pair till i buy my next one. They do not store easily in my gym bag and the wear and tear cracked the ear pieces away from the holder which causes the headphones to short out at times. Overall this is a great product and you cant beat the price (Under $20 from Amazon when i bought them).
